Welcome to Finnegan’s Whiskers Cat Cafe in the heart of Sudbury town centre in Suffolk. We work in partnership with Mel’s Rescue to provide a safe, enriching foster home for rescue cats looking for their forever family, meaning that all of the cats that you meet at Finnegan’s Whiskers are available to adopt. Alongside Mel’s Rescue, we are doing our bit in the fight against cat homelessness, whilst allowing people from all walks of life to enjoy the unique benefits of pet therapy, which has been proven to ease anxiety, depression and loneliness, and serve as a distraction from the stresses and strains of busy everyday life. What’s not to love?!

We serve delicious homemade cakes, brownies, cold savoury pastries and hot and cold drinks from small, local, ethical suppliers, for you to enjoy in our calm and stylish setting. Our entry fee of £6 per person per hour, goes towards maintaining the highest levels of welfare for the cats in our care, until they move on to life with their permanent family.
