BOOK
We recommend that you book your visit online ahead of time to avoid disappointment. We can accomodate walk-ins but this will always be subject to availability. We operate designated hourly time slots with a 15 minute break in-between each slot and a 45 minute cat-nap break at 2pm. Our time slots are as follows: 10:30, 11:45, 13:00, 14:45 and 16:00.

ARRIVE
When you arrive at the cafe please wait outside for a member of staff to let you into the lobby. We will run through our house rules and ask you to remove your shoes and sanitise your hands. This is so that we can protect our cats from outside contaminants but also so that you can enjoy sitting down on a nice clean floor to interact with our cats.

RELAX
We like to maintain a calm atmosphere within the cafe so that our cats and our customers feel relaxed. You can enjoy a great cup of tea or coffee and a homemade cake or savoury. Our food and drink has been chosen for quality and locality, sourced in Suffolk. Sometimes our cats will be playful and other times they will be sleepy – cats will be cats after all!

PEANUT
Peanut is a beautifully gentle boy with a reserved personality. He enjoys being stroked whilst he relaxes on the sofas and armchairs and if you catch him in the right mood he is incredibly playful. Take it as a huge honour if you get a cuddle with Peanut as he usually only reserves this for his Mum Shelley.
Peanut was undersized from birth and was an unwanted single litter kitten. He came to us very weak and subdued due to a bad flea infestation. Once we finally got rid of the flea’s we felt he needed a litter mate to learn from and grow with as he lacked confidence. Enter Ziggy! These boys bonded with each other instantly. Ziggy’s bold personality helped to raise Peanut’s confidence and they remain firmly bonded to this day.
Peanut was born in October 23.
OLIVE
Olive absolutely loves attention and is a very confident and people-centred cat. If her Mum Shelley goes too long without giving her cuddles and attention she will follow her around and cry until she gets the attention she deserves! For this reason we often call her Princess Olive. She is also known to do the same with Ziggy who she is very bonded to.
Sisters Olive & Autumn needed a permanent home after their previous owner was unable to take care of them. Sadly, they were full of fleas, so during their isolation period at home with Shelley they were given much needed attention to get fit, healthy and vaccinated, before being introduced to their new feline family at the cafe.
Olive was born in January 24.
AUTUMN
Autumn was a very nervous kitten when she came to us and we are still working on building her confidence. She isn’t as affectionate as her sister but she loves a stroke if you approach her calmly. She can often be found sleeping in her favourite bed where she paddles away with a purr that can be heard from across the room.
Sisters Autumn & Olive needed a permanent home after their previous owner was unable to take care of them. Sadly, they were full of fleas, so during their isolation period at home with Shelley they were given much needed attention to get fit, healthy and vaccinated, before being introduced to their new feline family at the cafe.
Autumn was born in January 24.
ZIGGY
Ziggy has a purr which can be heard from anywhere in the cafe. He makes friends with everyone he meets (human & feline) and is the most lovable, trusting boy. He will roll over and ask for belly rubs from just about anyone.
Ziggy was a very confident boy from the moment he came to us as a tiny kitten. Our Peanut needed a litter mate and Ziggy was the perfect match. These boys bonded with each other instantly. Ziggy’s bold personality helped to raise Peanut’s confidence and they remain firmly bonded to this day.
Ziggy was born in December 23.
BISCUIT
Biscuit came to us via Mel’s Rescue after being rescued from a hoarder house in London. He was incredibly nervous and shy for the first 24 hours at the cafe but soon settled in and formed strong bonds with the other residents. At only 8 months old he had to have all of his teeth removed due to an ongoing battle with painful gums and ulcers but he has adapted to being a gummy bear and eats his food just fine. Due to his rough start in life, Biscuit can sometimes be reserved but if he feels comfortable in your company he is very affectionate and playful.
Biscuit was born in September 23.
SINBAD
Sinbad is our floofy gent who is kind, gentle and full of mischief and quirks. Keep a close watch of your food when Sinbad is about as he is our resident cake thief and will think nothing of swiping your lemon drizzle from right under your nose. Fun fact – Sinbad’s name in his previous home was actually ‘Cake’!
Sinbad came to us with his brothers Bootsy and Pip. Their previous owner wasn’t able to keep these boys as they were becoming highly stressed in the family home by the young children and spending a lot of their time hiding up out of the way.
Sinbad was born in August 23.
BOOTSY
Bootsy is the confident cheeky one out of our three siblings – the lovable rogue and he likes to be ‘top cat’ at the cafe! He can often be found instigating play fights with his brothers (whether they like it or not), and getting up to all kinds of mischief around the cafe and in the catio. With fur like velvet he’s impossible to resist and is an absolute cuddle bug.
Bootsy came to us with his brothers Sinbad and Pip. Their previous owner wasn’t able to keep these boys as they were becoming highly stressed in the family home by the young children and poor Bootsy had started to urinate on the bed.
Bootsy was born in August 23.
PIP
Pip is our slinky, shiny panther who is such a gentle and patient soul. If you catch Pip in his ‘aggressive love mode’ you are in for a real treat and most probably a lovely lap cuddle – the ultimate honour! Our boy Pip will leap to soaring heights in order to catch his favourite toy during playtime.
Pip came to us with his brothers Sinbad and Bootsy. Their previous owner wasn’t able to keep these boys as they were becoming highly stressed in the family home by the young children and spending a lot of their time hiding up out of the way.
Pip was born in August 23.
Before the arrival of our resident cats, we worked in conjunction with Mel’s Rescue to take foster cats into the cafe and find them new homes. During this time we were proud to successfully rehome 55 cats with loving new families. A few months into our journey, we took the decision to no longer take foster cats into the cafe so that we could prioritise creating a calm, settled and healthy environment for our resident cats. We continue to support and work closely with Mel’s Rescue so please speak to a member of our staff if you are looking to adopt a cat.
